If I were an architect, I would change my campus into a natural kingdom.
When I was little, I liked to play in the meadow. When the birds sang around me, I feel I completely combined with nature. Looking at the river flow across me, I thought that was real happiness.
Unfortunately, the industrialization breaks the rule of nature. The river is polluted, and the air isn’t clean anymore. In the city jungle, we only have lifeless constructions. Pressure from entering a good school seems to force students to forget “what we have to learn” and “what is the true meaning of life”.
Therefore, if I were an architect, I would build the school into a natural kingdom. First, I would plant more trees. This could not only keep the air of the school fresh, but also could grow many plants, vegetables and fruits. Besides, we could also raise a lot of supplementary learning material. By doing so, teaching and learning at school would go beyond the limits of textbooks. Then, I would also build a zoo with some animals like pigs, cats, dogs, rabbits, and so on. Students would get close to those animals easily, and learn a “life lesson” from them – how they grew up from babies, how they became old and feeble, and finally died. We would find that being alive or having a life is a great thing so we should more careful to take care of ourselves.
I wish my design could lead my campus into a new, bright future.
The student would have more life experience.
